Monday 11:30 - 12:30 | A Christmas Carol Revision 📍 Bushey Metropolitan Club, WD23 2TR Aldenham Road This session will unlock Dickens’ message on social responsibility and help students refine their essay-writing skills. We will explore: ✔️ Scrooge’s transformation and how Dickens uses him to critique Victorian society. ✔️ The role of the three ghosts – what they symbolise and how they shape Scrooge’s journey. ✔️ AO1 (key character analysis), AO2 (how language and structure convey meaning), and AO3 (Victorian social issues). ✔️ Timed exam practice, focusing on clear and effective writing strategies. 📖 By the end of this session, your teen will feel fully prepared to analyse the novella in depth for their GCSE exam!
